I got the carepackage drop from the Choquevillca family! They're the best! Oh my goodness my mouth melted with the See's candy toffee bar, send more please..... Already almost given out all my tie bars you sent and lookin forward to using the camping chair! My legs and ankles and feet are doing WAY better with the cooler weather here....anything for the Lord though. I cut my hair way short because president actually mentioned somewhat reluctantly that it looked a lil' spiky when he visited haha. Sorry I didn't read or respond to almost anyone today because I had 30 emails and an assignment from president! I'll read them during the week again! I love you all and wanted to finish by sharing a special blessing I think our whole family and friends can take advantage of.... I have prayed for singularity of mind..... a unique blessing I have never prayed for before my mission and kind of regret..... the Lord has blessed me with singularity of mind alright..... As I mentioned in last weeks email I can barely remember anything from before the mission..... I mean obviously I could dig real hard and get some stuff but I kind of just avoid it and the Lord blesses me with the occasional memory of happiness, laughing, special moments, and NOTHING more.... literal amnesia..... I think many could benefit greatly from this as we so often struggle to forgive, think about what others think of us too much, hold on to the past and worry about the future..... it's all going to be okay.... pray for singularity of mind on the things that matter..... especially the gospel and atonement of Jesus Christ and He will give you the amnesia to forget yourself, your weaknesses, betrayals, pains, and more..... There is a promise.... I can't remember the reference right now but it states that in serving the Lord, you will be forgiven of your sins and in serving a mission you can come home with a clean slate..... I have focused on that blessing so much it's not even funny..... basically a second baptism..... are you kidding me? YES I'll take that blessing (Mr. perfectionist, can't always forgive himself Skylar) I struggle at times, but I LOVE the missionary experience for the changes it has brought about in me and I love all of you.... please try to progress in similar ways while I am out here so we can all come together at the end of my mission..... new people..... more polished stones that have been tossed about in the living waters and river of Christ.

Hair before.... this is the ex-assistant, Brazilian, SUPER funny Elder Santos.... met him as my zone leader in my first transfer.... LOVE him and miss him haha..... he was rockin' the long tie look that president so often does XD for the record..... it should touch the belt and not go past. Many missionaries here like to wear it short for some reason?? Edgar Garcia my trainer did too.... they try to cheat it and say that when you're sitting down it touches the belt haha
Here's one with the hair after..... kinda don't like it this short so I haven't taken many pics with my hair like this haha....There are mini Dobermann Pinschers in TWO of the houses we often visit! I miss my Heidi! This one is just a pup like when Tiff had lil Heidi wiedy.... Love the weather today.... darn these high def pics take a long time to load..... Hope there wasn't anything too urgent I was supposed to respond to this week!
Our downstairs bathroom that only my comp uses now..... I think my hair is short in this photo? So much more I want to send! UGGGHHHHh! Right I don't use this bathroom because as you can see from this photo it's just a tad bit small..... should've taken the pic from farther back but I can basically touch the upper middle of my back on the ceiling when I walk in......lol. Some of the fun quirks of Bolivian Life. :)
