My new area is Aeropuerto 2 (Airport 2) and the members here are awesome at fulfilling their callings. 153 came to church yesterday. I´m pretty darn sad to have left Vallegrande so quickly but excited for this new change and the growth to come. So much more has happened, but that´s the most important stuff more or less haha. Love you all! Keep praying for me and I´m always praying for you!
Trailblazing southern Peru and then the southeastern quarter of Bolivia wearing a blazer of sorts as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has its ups and downs, twists and turns. Follow me on this once in a life-time journey as I strive to spread the message of hope, truth, and peace in a land that I hope will become my second home.

March 14th, 2016 - Off to Tarija
Well, I can explain the past week with this one picture.
... but you guys know I could do just that :). Anyway I climbed this way big mountain in Vallegrande called Pikáchu.... yes as in Pikachu from Pokémon.... at least I´m pretty sure.... I never verified how it was spelled because I was planning on being in Vallegrande for more than just 6 weeks (one cmabio/transfer) but every now and then, the Lord likes to test us a little more and send us off to a new area after just once transfer and He exercised that with me this time through my mission president. Sooooo in the past several weeks I have gone to Santa Cruz from Vallegrande in flota (big tour bus looking thing) for the 6 hour trip once for the migrations clearance my old companion, Elder Castillo needed, and back in a trufi (bigger than normal van for travelling, seats 9 uncomfortably), then 3 days later back to Santa Cruz in flota for a Leader´s council since we were the only ones in Vallegrande I counted as a leader despite being the only one there out of all the zone leaders and assistants to the president that wasn't a leader, then back that night in trufi again. Then a few days later (this past Monday) I climbed a mountain and had to leave on a Trufi at 4pm being notified to pack all of my things with my clothes still soaking to be hand washed at 11:30am on Tuesday morning. Barely got everything together in time, 6 more hours back to Santa Cruz to get to the secretaries´ of the mission house, dry my clothes in their dryer and give away some of my stuff since my bags are getting huge.... even though I feel like I leave stuff every transfer haha. Slept from 11:30pm until 4am to get ready and go to the airport in northern Santa Cruz, find that they ran out of tickets and would just send my bags with a group of 10 other missionaries (Elders and Sisters) ahead to Tarija (way nice southern part of Bolivia, similar weather to Vallegrande) and the Elders would take care of them for me and I would be the only one of this group going back to Santa Cruz to proselyte in a trio for a few hours before coming back to the airport that afternoon to go with another group of missionaries. I was all good with it all.... got Cinnabon covered by the mission and nearly passed out at the deliciousness I haven´t had in almost over a year. Came back to the airport (hour trip) in afternoon, took an hour long flight to Tarija, got to the sweet 4 story house where we live on the 3rd floor and my bags were there, all good, and I was out proselyting after being in my new house for about 15 minutes.
