Otra gran semana de éxito, presidente. Creo que el distrito de verdad ha aprendido a buscar constantemente utilizando las ideas más eficaces y originales. El milagro del seguir sus directrices: hemos encontrado a 70 en esta semana como distrito y no pararemos. Tenemos siempre mucho por hacer y mejorar. Siempre veo y analizo los indicadores clave cada domingo por la noche y lunes por la mañana. Medito y doy estudios y cosas para poner en práctica al distrito ya lunes por la noche en preparación por la reunión en jueves. He aprendido de la conferencia general, conferencias multizonas, y otras reuniones de la iglesia, que las reuniones oficiales y espirituales de la iglesia deben de planificar con antelación para que cada reunión sea una experiencia más inspiradora, edificante, elevadora, y animadora. Doy asignaciones muy antemano para que puedan preparar espiritualmente. No habían muchos con fecha bautismales en esta semana así que tengo planificado ya hablar en cuanto al cuestionario del "verifique su progreso" de las primeras 12 semanas que habla mucho de cosas básicas que a veces olvidamos tal como extendiendo la invitación bautismal en la primera lección y ofreciendo una fecha bautismal no más tardar que la segunda lección, haciendo que el cabeza de la familia ore de rodillas al fin de la primera lección, y más. Yo creo que esto nos ayudará en prestar más atención a los que están listos para recibir el Evangelio y el bautismo especialmente en este tiempo.
Por la primera vez en mi misión, presidente, el Señor me está permitiendo el éxito necesario para planificar y tener un bautismo cada semana. Siempre he esforzado y trabajado en una forma similar a como estoy trabajando aquí en Suárez (aunque siempre puedo y esfuerzo para mejorar), pero la eficacia del consejo de barrio, un buen compañero, y la gran ayuda del Señor mezclado con los corazones TAN blandos aquí en la pobreza de nuestra área está creando un gran éxito. Tenemos a personas muy fijas para ser bautizadas en estas próximas semanas: Ivan Guarina (16 años) por el 29 de Abril, Luis Fernando Ortiz (19 años) por el 6 de Mayo, Familia Orellana (MAPF) junto con una joven de 13 años de un MAPF por el 13 de Mayo, y varios otros con posibilidades por el 20 de Mayo. Yo creo que podemos hacerlo, y yo SÉ que solo el Señor lo ha permitido. La gloria sea Suya.
A pesar de mucho tiempo perdido con algunos problemas con nuestra pensionista en esta semana y siendo alertos por una nueva casa y pensionista, no hemos olvidado de ninguna parte de la obra y hemos esforzado bastante en esta semana.
Teniendo la conferencia multi-zona a las 8:00am incomodó a algunos en nuestra casa en esta semana pasada. No quiero dar excusas por haber llegado a las 8:20 am en vez de las 8am, pero el solo tener 1 hora para alistarse no nos permitió hacer ejercicios, salimos de la casa a las 7:30am con bastante tiempo para llegar y había MUCHO tráfico, más que lo normal, tardamos casi una hora en llegar. De igual forma le pido disculpe, de verdad esforzamos mucho por la puntualidad.
Hice un intercambio con Élder Abendaño en esta semana. Fue muy bien. Su enseñanza y poder tomar la iniciativa son muy buenos. Algunas cositas en cuanto a la obediencia para ir mejorando y un mayor enfoque en la obra podría ayudarle. De igual forma yo creo que él está listo para entrenar después de las primeras 12 semanas. Quiero seguir trabajando con y ayudando a él, tiene una gran potencial.
El milagro de esta semana: tenemos otra oportunidad después de mucho tiempo para tener la capilla de Suarez aprobada por construcción en los comienzos de 2018. En todo de este mes hemos tenido alguien del área presente en nuestras reuniones sacramentales para contar asistencia. Según nuestro obispo habían muchos personas MAs en el barrio que ya no viven aquí así que los deportó del barrio y el porcentaje de asistencia (cerca de 80% ahora) y pago de diezmos (cerca de 60% ahora) ha subido bastante comparecido a los estadísticos de antes. Sólo tenemos que mantener buenísima asistencia por este mes y aprobarán construcción después de unos 15 años que no han podido lograrlo. Estamos más cerca que nunca. Junto con el consejo de barrio comprometimos 9 conductores de autos quienes son miembros a venir y juntar con nosotros 4 Élderes de Suárez y enviamos otros directamente a las casas de los investigadores y menos activos. Hicimos divisiones los 4 de nosotros y llevamos 18 investigadores y aun más menos activos a la capilla en domingo. Logramos una asistencia mayor de 240 y aumentamos mucho la probabilidad de una nueva capilla. Sigo los directrices del obispo, cumplo, doy informe, y estamos disfrutando de las bendiciones de trabajar conjuntamente con los miembros. Que buena semana.
