Querido Presidente Rodríguez,
El mes de milagros.... así será. Ya estamos trabajando durísimo para llevarlo a cabo. Presidente, no puedo agradecerle suficiente por haberme permitido venir aquí a La Merced, a Suarez como Líder de Distrito, y ahora a El Quior como Líder de Zona. Espero siempre ser digno de su confianza y más importante, de la confianza del Señor en esta gran obra. No era fácil salir Suárez en medio de otra semana de excelencia (ya habiendo logrado bastante con fecha, preparado todo por el bautismo de Luis Fernando Ortiz Melgar, y encontrado a 7 tan solo en Lunes y Martes) y personas que yo amaba mucho, pero estoy muy feliz para poder lograrlo en otra área más y aprender mucho como líder de zona. No me importa casi para nada ahora si yo estoy en una área mucho tiempo antes de terminar la misión para que sepa no más. Seguiré su revelación y dirección siempre. Cada día aprendo más como ser un mejor líder de zona, y Élder Moreno ya está acabando de sugerencias jaja. Amo nuestra casa, pensionista (donde comemos MUCHAS verduras, aun más que la mitad del plato todos los días y sentimos las bendiciones de salud y más energía), y área. Aprovechamos MUY bien del tiempo y trabajamos bien como equipo. Estoy agradecido por Élder Moreno como mi compañero. Tal vez falta no más esa chispa de ir el kilómetro extra. Élder Calderón está MUY animado junto con Élder Wirthlin y ellos están trabajando durísimo. Élder Henríquez no está trunky, que bendición; estamos mejorando mucho nuestra área, casa, y carpeta de área para poner un gran ejemplo y empezar nuestros intercambios en esta semana. Queremos hacer intercambios con la mayoría de la zona con su permiso sin descuidar nuestra área también. Específicamente algunos compañerismos están encontrando muy pocos, y al hacer el financiero, nos dimos cuenta que muchos están yendo a la clínica Foianini recientemente. Queremos ayudarles a todos a cuidar mejor por ellos mismos, el tiempo, su área, y la fe para encontrar y bautizar. Ya estamos meditando muchas maneras en que podemos usar el tiempo con más sabiduría por el consejo de líderes este jueves.
Tuvimos un milagro en esta semana. Mi primer día en el área, de verdad estábamos con mucho sueño por todo lo que había pasado en los cambios, pero seguíamos adelante. Trabajamos duro y tratamos de hablar con todos y encontrar muchos ese día. Ni podíamos pensar muy bien por el cansancio y el Señor era muy misericordioso con nosotros. Una hermana nos contactó a nosotros en la calle y quiso que le visitáramos a ella y su esposo y familia. Su hermano de ella está sirviendo una misión en Paraguay. Siento que eramos una respuesta a las oraciones de su hermano de allá al poder sacar una cita, enseñarla, y ponerla una fecha bautismal por el 27 de Mayo ya. Sé que al ser obedientes, diligentes, y dignos podemos recibir la ayuda del Señor y Él puede guiar a las personas preparadas hasta nosotros.
También sentimos quedar un poco después de las reuniones dominicales en domingo para conocer a algunos miembros más y fijar tiempos en los cuales ellos pueden acompañarnos en la semana a pesar de nuestro cansancio y hambre por el ayuno. Justo un hermano vino pidiéndonos a dar una bendición de salud a una hermana menos activa que había asistido a la iglesia por la primera vez en mucho tiempo. Ella estaba enferma por sintió que debe venir a la iglesia ese día. Yo sentí de inmediato al entrar un cuarto en la capilla para darla la bendición a preguntarla cuándo iba a ir al médico y aprovechar a la bendición de conocimiento, doctores, y la tecnología que tenemos hoy en día. Ella respondió tal vez mañana, yo sentí que debe ser más temprano. Otra vez al darla la bendición yo sentí decirla que debe "buscar la ayuda de los alrededor de ella" y "buscar ayuda lo más antes posible." En medio de la bendición ella desmayó. Con apurado calmo conseguimos otros miembros para llevarla al hospital por algunos problemas con parálisis y su cerebro antes que se agravara. Si había sentido inspirado alguna vez por el espíritu en mi misión, ese momento era, presidente. Que bendición ser obediente y esforzar ser un instrumento más valioso en las manos del Señor. Yo sé que Él guió a ella a la iglesia, un lugar donde podía tener ayuda, a ser sentada durante una bendición aun para no lastimarse al desmayar, y tener alguien con auto cerca para tal vez salvarla su vida. El Señor cuida por cada uno de sus ovejas. Si prestamos atención a Su Espíritu, podemos ser la ayuda necesaria.

The month of miracles .... so it will be. We are already working hard to carry it out. President, I can not thank you enough for allowing me to come here to La Merced, Suarez as District Leader, and now to El Quior as Zone Leader. I always hope to be worthy of your trust and most importantly, of the Lord's trust in this great work. It was not easy to leave Suarez in the middle of another week of excellence (having already achieved enough with date, prepared everything by the baptism of Luis Fernando Ortiz Melgar, and found only 7 on Mondays and Tuesdays) and people that I loved much, but I am very happy to be able to achieve it in another area and learn a lot as a zone leader. I do not mind almost anything now if I'm in an area long before I finish the mission so I know no more. I will always follow your revelation and direction. Every day I learn more about being a better zone leader, and Elder Moreno is already running out of suggestions haha. I love our house, pensioner (where we eat MANY vegetables, even more than half the plate every day and we feel the blessings of health and more energy), and area. We take advantage of the time and work well as a team. I am grateful for Elder Moreno as my partner. Maybe there is no longer that spark of going the extra kilometer. Elder Calderon is VERY excited along with Elder Wirthlin and they are working very hard. Elder Henriquez is not trunky, what a blessing; We are greatly improving our area, home, and area folder to set a great example and start our exchanges this week. We want to make exchanges with most of the area with your permission without neglecting our area as well. Specifically some companions are finding very few, and in doing the financial, we realized that many are going to the Foianini clinic recently. We want to help everyone take better care of themselves, the time, their area, and the faith to find and baptize. We are already meditating on many ways we can use the time with more wisdom by the council of leaders this Thursday.
We had a miracle this week. My first day in the area, we were really very sleepy about everything that had happened in the changes, but we kept going. We worked hard and tried to talk to everyone and find many that day. We could not think very well about fatigue and the Lord was very merciful to us. A sister contacted us on the street and wanted us to visit her and her husband and family. Her brother is serving a mission in Paraguay. I feel we were an answer to your brother's prayers over there to be able to make an appointment, teach it, and put a baptismal date by May 27 already. I know that by being obedient, diligent, and worthy we can receive the Lord's help and He can guide the people prepared to us.
We also feel like staying a little after the Sunday meetings on Sunday to meet some more members and set times in which they can accompany us in the week despite our fatigue and hunger for fasting. Just a brother came asking us to give a health blessing to a less active sister who had attended church for the first time in a long time. She was sick because she felt she should come to church that day. I immediately felt as I entered a room in the chapel to give her the blessing to ask her when she would go to the doctor and take advantage of the blessing of knowledge, doctors, and the technology we have today. She replied maybe tomorrow, I felt it must be earlier. Again when giving her the blessing I felt to say that she should "seek the help of those around her" and "seek help as soon as possible." In the middle of the blessing she fainted. With calm rush we got other members to take her to the hospital for some problems with paralysis and her brain before it worsened. If I had ever felt inspired by the spirit in my mission, that moment was, President. What a blessing to be obedient and strive to be a more valuable instrument in the hands of the Lord. I know He led her to the church, a place where she could have help, to be seated during a blessing even so as not to hurt herself when she passed out, and to have someone with a car nearby to save her life. The Lord cares for each one of his sheep. If we pay attention to His Spirit, we can be the necessary help.
